Auburn’s Big Cat Weekend has produced a commitment from a high-profile quarterback from Arkansas.

Kiehl Frazier, a standout at Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn’s old school in Springdale, Ark., left Auburn on Saturday saying he would be part of the Tigers’ 2011 signing class. Our friends at AuburnSports.com and AuburnUndercover.com and Inside the Auburn Tigers reported it. They have the quotes.

Frazier is rated as the No. 4 prep quarterback in the country, according to Scout.

Frazier, who is 6-foot-3, 215 and a standout at Shiloh Christian, had offers from more than 30 schools, including Notre Dame, Florida, LSU, Arkansas, Miami and Michigan. Malzahn was once the head coach at Shiloh.

“He played a huge role,” Frazier told AuburnSports.com. “He was the first to offer me when he was at Tulsa. He’s a great coach and a great person. I’m familiar with his offense. We still run the basics of it at Shiloh.”
