Even by halftime, the two teams were only separated by nine points.
Earlier in the week, Ole Miss Quarterback Bo Wallace told the media that he felt that his offense could score on Alabama, but it was actually Wallace that scored for the Tide.
Wallace contributed a safety to Alabama’s 25-point shutout of the Rebels.
Tide kicker Cade Foster seemed like the only source of offense, especially kicking three field goals in the first half, but it was Daphne’s TJ Yeldon that ignited the second half with 17 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown on the night.
Alabama will take on Georgia State next.
