When isn’t Alabama and LSU not competiting against each other for something? or in this case someone.
NOLA.com’s James Smith is predicting that the nation’s top recruit, offensive lineman Cameron Robinson, will choose the Tide. CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY
Robinson was orignially set to announce his decision last Friday, before his game, but pushed it back until Wednesday after ESPNU offered to let him announce it on a special live broadcast.
He will make the announcement at 12:30pm CT.
Robinson is one of two major recruits, from the Louisiana-area, that are targeted by both Alabama and LSU, including Running Back Leonard Fournette.
The two could end up being a package deal, or Robinson’s decision could have an affect on Fournette’s decision.
Fournette is also highly regarded as the top recruit in the nation by some recruiting outlets.
Regardless, this will make two seasons in a row that the nation’s top recruit has gone to an SEC school.
