AUBURN, Alabama — Make it 10 former Auburn Tigers who have lined up an NFL free agent deal in the last 24 hours.

Defensive lineman Mike Blanc, last seen recording a safety in the BCS national championship game, tweets he’s signing with the San Diego Chargers.

Auburn will have at least 14 players off last year’s team in NFL camps: The 10 free agents and four drafted players.

Today’s additions include Blanc, defensive back Zac Etheridge, to Oakland; and wide receiver Terrell Zachery, to Baltimore. They joined seven other former Tigers who reported their destinations Monday night.

The latest free agent scoreboard reads:

Blanc to San Diego, Etheridge to Oakland, Zachery to Baltimore, offensive lineman Byron Isom to Minnesota, offensive lineman Mike Berry to New England, linebacker Josh Bynes to Baltimore, receiver Darvin Adams and offensive lineman Ryan Pugh to Carolina, running back Mario Fannin to Denver and defensive back Demond Washington to Kansas City.

The drafted Tigers were quarterback Cam Newton, offensive lineman Lee Ziemba, defensive lineman Nick Fairley by Detroit and defensive lineman Zach Clayton by Tennessee.

The NFL and its players association agreed to a settlement to end its 4½-month lockout on Monday. The NFLPA executive committee and 32 team reps voted unanimously to approve the terms of the deal, which was signed by both sides Monday.

“It’s been a long time coming. Football is back and that’s great news for everybody,” commissioner Roger Goodell said in a joint news conference with NFLPA leader DeMaurice Smith outside the NFLPA’s headquarters in Washington.

Tentative NFL timeline

The proposed timeline for the NFL to return to league business:

o Monday: Teams can go to 90-man rosters and the official free-agent list will be distributed to teams.

o Tuesday: Trades can commence. Teams can reach agreements with rookies and undrafted free agents beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Teams can reach agreements with all free agents and signed players are allowed to enter team facilities.

o Wednesday: Players can begin reporting to training camps 15 days before their first preseason games. New York Jets and Houston Texans would be the last two teams to report, on Sunday.

Thursday: Teams can begin to cut players at 4 p.m. ET.

o Friday: Teams can begin file free-agent signings to the league office at 6 p.m. ET.

o Aug. 4: Deadline for recertification and ratification of the collect

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Eli Gold will continue his role as Alabama football’s play-by-play voice through 2017 after signing a four-year contract extension.

Gold has called every Crimson Tide football game since 1989, which includes two national championship games (1992, 2009). He also hosts “NASCAR Live,” a nationally syndicated radio call-in show.

Phil Savage will continue to his role as color analyst, which he has done since 2008. Savage was an assistant with the Cleveland Browns under then-defensive coordinator Nick Saban. He also worked as director of player personnel for the Baltimore Ravens, and as general manager of the Browns.

As was reported last week, Chris Stewart is the new sideline reporter replacing Barry Krauss. Stewart also replaced Jim Dunaway as host of the Nick Saban TV Show. Stewart, who has been with Alabama since 1999, is the play-by-play voice of Tide men’s basketball and baseball.

Tom Roberts, who has been with the broadcast team since 1979, continues to host the pregame show and will provide scoreboard updates.

Former Tide quarterback Tyler Watts and Todd Robbins will begin and end broadcasts. Watts has been with CTSN since 2007 and Robbins since 2005.
