Former 5-star recruit BJ Scott made a name for himself in Saturday’s Senior Bowl, showcasing to NFL scouts that he can be a difference-maker on defense.

After a college career with the Tide and Jags, the former Vigor standout is proving once again that he should not be overlooked.

Senior Bowl Director Phil Savage,  a former NFL General Manager, told WNSP on the Morning Sports Center that he truly believes that Scott can play either cornerback or safety at the next level.

Many scouts were encouraging Scott to stick to Safety leading up to April’s draft, but Savage believes that he could actually be more successful at the cornerback position.
