South Alabama took their quarterback battle all the way into their recent scrimmage, but have finally come to a decision.

Metheny battled CJ Bennett for the starting job throughout last season, and will reportedly share time with backup Brandon Bridge this season.
Bridge is set to be used in various situations, but Metheny will be the primary option.
South Alabama hasn’t had a solidified quarterback in three seasons.
