Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs was just going through the standard procedures when handling the recent allegations towards Auburn’s 2010 season.

Jacobs says that they have no reason to believe that the allegations are either accurate or credible.
Just when NCAA President Mark Emmert thought that he could deal with one program at a time, he was sorely mistakened.

Emmert has been under recent fire for the handling of the NCAA’s investigation, surrounding the University of Miami’s recruiting violations.
He stated in a release that the NCAA was unaware any of the claims towards Auburn in the report.
Selena Roberts’ report has made a number of accusations towards the Auburn 2010 National Championship team.
ESPN reports that former Auburn Head Coach, and current ESPN employee, Gene Chizik has since released a statement defending the program and his former coaching staff. CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY
