DRE KIRKPATRICK RESPONDS TO BEING NAMED IN AUBURN REPORT

     Selena Roberts focused on two key factors in her report about the 2010 Auburn team: player received money from coaches and grade changes to become eligible to play in the national championship.

     She focused on a recruiting visit where an Auburn player was given money to entertain a recruit.

     AL.com’s Mark Heim reports that Dre Kirkpatrick, the recruit in the report, has since responded to being named in the allegations. CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY

     Kirkpatrick goes on to say that he just attended a party during his recruitment and had no prior knowledge to any money being spent on him during his visit.

     We all know about Harvey Updyke and his contribution to society, but unfortunately April 20th will be the final rolling of the Toomer Oak trees at Auburn.

     AL.com’s Matt Scalici reports that ESPN will televise the final rolling, following Auburn’s spring game. CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL STORY
